A trollball tournament took place again this year in beautiful Bacharach with a view of the Rhine. 6 teams competed against each other in 2 groups. The first group consisted of The Moeho’s, who had already been successful in previous tournaments under different team names. The Hello Trollies once again impressed as the longest-standing team with an international line-up. The ‚Hello Trollkin‘ they brought with them should help them to victory this year. Carcosa competed for the first time this year. The second group was made up of Das Gesocks, the Stahlrowdies and the Lightning Trolls. Das Gesocks had been preparing for this day for years (team outfit, cheerleaders and lots of strategies in their repertoire). Both the Stahlrowdies and the Lighning Trolls spontaneously felt like punching another troll and joining in.
In an exciting preliminary round full of bribes, club strikes, lost goals and missing Trollkin, the newcomers Carcosa and the Stahlrowdies came out on top of the group. The Hello Trollies and the Lighning Trolls fought a great battle for 5th place, with the Lighning Trolls emerging as the clear winners with 11:2 goals. The experienced team Moeho’s clashed with the sock trolls, but could not prevail against the cheerleader-boosted sock trolls. In the grand final, Carcosa and Stahlrowdies butted heads. 2:1! A tight game! Carcosa wins by one goal. Congratulations to the newcomer of the tournament, who may have taken a few hits, but who swung the clubs the best this year.
Im schönen Bacharach mit Ausblick auf den Rhein fand auch in diesem Jahr wieder ein Trollballturnier statt. 6 Teams traten in 2 Gruppen gegeneinander an. Die erste Gruppe bildeten Die Moeho’s, die bereits in vergangenen Turnieren unter anderem Teamnamen erfolgreichen waren. Die Hello Trollies überzeugten erneut als das am längsten bestehenden Team mit internationaler Besetzung. Der mitgebrachte Hello Trollkin sollte in diesem Jahr zum Sieg verhelfen. Carcosa trat in diesem Jahr erstmals mit ihrer Besetzung an. Die zweite Gruppe bildeten Das Gesocks, die Stahlrowdies und die Lightning Trolls. Das Gesocks, das sich jahrelang auf diesen Tag vorbereitet hatte (Teamkluft, Cheerleader und jeder Menge Strategien im Gepäck). Sowohl die Stahlrowdies, als auch die Lighning Trolls bekamen spontan Lust einem anderen Troll eins überzubraten und mitzumachen.
In einer spannenden Vorrunde voller Bestechungen, Keulenschläge, verschollener Tore und verschwundenen Trollkin, setzen sich die Neulingen Carcosa und die Stahlrowdies an die Gruppenspitzen. Die Hello Trollies und die Lighning Trolls lieferten sich eine große Prügelei um den 5. Platz, aus der die Lighning Trolls mit 11:2 Toren als klare Sieger hervorgingen. Das erfahrene Team Moeho’s kreuzte die Keulen mit dem Gesocks, konnte sich aber nicht gegen die Cheerleader geboosteten Sockentrolle durchsetzen. Im großen Finale schlugen sich Carcosa und Stahlrowdies die Köpfe ein. 2:1! Knappe Kiste! Carcosa gewinnt mit einem Tor Vorsprung. Glückwunsch an den Turnierneuling, der zwar einige Prügel kassiert, die Keulen jedoch in diesem Jahr am besten geschwungen hat.
